Barcelona has extended its contract with sports brand Puma for another five years, the club announced on Tuesday.
The agreement between Barcelona and Puma, which was originally signed in 2018, will run until June 30, 2024.
"We are very happy to extend our partnership with Puma," said Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu. "This is a great achievement for both clubs and we look forward to continuing our successful collaboration."
Puma's sponsorship deal with Barcelona has been a major success for both parties. The German brand has helped to increase the profile of the Catalan club worldwide, while also generating significant revenue for the club.
"The extension of our partnership with Barcelona is a testament to the strong relationship that exists between our two brands," said Puma CEO Jan Pfaff. "We are excited to continue working together to help Barcelona achieve even greater success in the future."
Barcelona has been one of the most successful football clubs in Spain and Europe over the past few decades, winning numerous domestic and international titles. The club's partnership with Puma has played a key role in this success, helping to support the team's training and match-day kits, as well as their overall branding and marketing efforts.
In addition to its footballing achievements, Barcelona has also made significant contributions to Spanish culture through its cultural events, such as the annual FC Barcelona Day in Barcelona. This has helped to further strengthen the club's global reputation and generate more revenue from its partnerships with sponsors like Puma.
Overall, the extension of Barcelona's partnership with Puma is a positive development for both clubs and represents a continued commitment to the long-term success of both teams.
